How did this come to our attention?

MPDO is deeply committed to promoting peace and safeguarding human rights. We strive to create environments where diversity is celebrated, conflicts are resolved peacefully, and every individual is treated with dignity and respect.

Promoting Peace:

Our peacebuilding efforts focus on conflict prevention, mediation, and reconciliation. We engage communities in dialogue, train local peacebuilders, and support grassroots initiatives that address the underlying causes of conflict. By fostering a culture of peace, we aim to prevent violence and build more cohesive and resilient communities.

Safeguarding Human Rights:

Human rights are at the core of our work. We advocate for the protection and promotion of fundamental rights and freedoms, particularly for vulnerable and marginalized groups. Our programs include legal aid services, human rights education, and advocacy campaigns that raise awareness and drive policy change.

Creating Inclusive Communities:

We believe that peace and human rights are intertwined with social justice. Our work includes efforts to combat discrimination, promote gender equality, and support the rights of minorities and other marginalized groups. By creating inclusive communities, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity and respect.

Dialogue for peace, Governance, and Development:

We promote peace, governance, development, and strengthen institutions by conducting participatory public policy development through fostering a culture of dialogue, we are peacebuilding such as “Concept of peace mediation and the “Women, Peace and Security Agenda,” after closely studying the trends of international support.

Women Empowerment:

We recognize the vital role of women in peacebuilding and community development. Our efforts focus on promoting women’s rights, supporting their participation in decision-making, and fostering economic independence. We provide education, skills training, and resources to help women lead and contribute to community stability. Through the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda, we advocate for policies that elevate women’s status across society.
